I agree with you on this. Something along these lines was also written in the Linux Journal. Users/developers should work collaboratively to put together a superior distribution, instead of getting upset and marching off. Subsribers to this list and SuSE users in general help to identify problems with the distribution and historically, SuSE has been quick in getting the problem taken care of and available for ftp from their site.
