[opensuse] Mounting e-SATA drive

Hi, Is it possible to make an e-SATA drive behave like a USB-drive ? What I mean is, when I click on the drive/partition have it mounted automatically. Now I have to enter the root-password to have it mounted. FWIW Ubuntu 10.04 had this.
