Hi,
I have a doubt whether "Tooltalk" is supported in KDE-Linux. (It is supported in CDE). Tooltalk is a utility which is available in Unix Operating System, providing support for various tool communications.
I would like to know if the same utility is available in Linux-KDE? If so how to use it and where can I get info related to it?
What you are looking for is KPart/DCOP that provides for essentially the same services known from ToolTalk. All KDE apps are linked against the DCOP library to enable interclient communication. Just google for kpart and dcop for more info. \Steve -- Steve Graegert <graegerts@gmail.com> | Blog <http://tikomi.org> Software Consultant {C/C++ && Java && .NET} Office: +49 9131 7123988 Mobile: +49 1520 9289212
