Prior to this event, at 20:18, I suspended the machine (to ram), without this "Dazed" thing. And at "19:17" I hibernated it, not "Dazed" either. And another uneventful one at 4 AM. If you want the full log...
It is "dazed and confused" by laptop-mode scripts that almost certainly do something cray with power saving features.
laptop-mode scripts are active all the time, with messages on every hibernation cycle, for several years, without any kernel message about being "Dazed". And they run after that point in time.
Yeah.. but the kernel changes a lot very quickly and it is likely this causes a regression.
As you can see, many cycles, and only two "dazed" events, of a total of 11 since Feb 11. openSUSE 13.1 was installed 2014-01-07, and kernel 3.11.10-7-desktop was installed on 2014-02-07. On 2014-02-11 11:55:51 I get the first Dazed event. Coincidence? I think not.
The 13.1 kernel will be updated to 3.12.x soon, 3.11 as reached EOL upstream and openSUSE maintainers do not want to support it at all. I suggest you wait for that update and see if still occurs.
