ditto. I've begun moving my systems and those I care for (for pay) from OpenSUSE and it's variants (including SLES/SLED) to other distributions. It's painful, but necessary. Stability is paramount for me to be credible. The Suse line is no longer stable.
I happen to fix twice a month various computers, very few with openSUSE, and I can say all the distributions have some problem on time...
I used to. I don't any more. Since some radical Christian objected to one of my random DotSigQuotes I've kept to using the one below on this list since it seem only a little bit controversial. We don't have many top-posters here :-) However one of the ones in the database reads: At least when humans go to casualty, they generally haven't gone into the Control Panel and messed with the settings... I found that people who came to me for advice or fixes either ignored the advice (usually in ways that made them vulnerable), or reversed changes or opened up their firewalls or worse. Sometimes they blamed me. At least when they bitch at me for NOT helping them they can't validly accuse me giving bad advice or breaking their computer. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
