The issue is that I would need to use the build service to get 4.2.x, but I've recently seen that we are being told that the build service isn't supported, so if something breaks, I'm SOL. you are perfectly right, here. If *this part* of the OBS is "official", we need an "official" announce. Remastering the openSUSE DVD accordingly should be extremely nice.
I'm not trying to hurt this community. I would prefer to stick with openSUSE.
anyway, you have to, because most other wont have kde3. OpenSUSE is said to have kde3 available on all supported versions (that mean 11.1 for an other year or so) don't forget Debian is much faster than it was and don't maintain old distros after stable is released. openSUSE may be the last one with a workable kde3 (and thanks to us all, who asked for) and yes, we have to have a decent html editor (quanta or other) vi is nice for strict html, but when javascript or similar are involved... jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://news.opensuse.org/2009/04/13/people-of-opensuse-jean-daniel-dodin/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
