Scanner in 7.2

Hi all, I recently updated my 7.1 to 7.2 and all went well, except for few things: the scanner is recognised but only root seems to see the device with `find-scanner`, however every user sees it with `scsicheck`. I tried to change the permission from 640 to 644, but nothing happens. When I try to scan something for example with `kdesu gimp`, the application found the scanner and if I select it, it warn me not to continue as root or to continue at my own risk! So I not continue... Please help me! In the previous installation (7.1) all work perfectly, and I don't know what's happened. Thank you for your attention.
