I had a problem like this with a logitech wireless USB mouse. However, unplugging and re-plugging the USB connector would help. Later I switched the mouse to the ps/2 port and the problem disappeared entirely
... i have to agree. my logitech is usb, but i use the usb-to-ps/2 converter and have it in a well-known port and have ZERO issues. personally, i dont see what all the fuss is about - "gotta have usb this-n-that". the keybd goes into the dedicated keybd port, mouse into the dedicated ps/2 port, printer into the parallel port; now, my scanner *IS* on usb (epson1200u) and my sony camera does occassionally get plugged into usb, but those arent my "daily devices" :) (granted -those devices work every time) . -- /// Michael J.
