Use wvdial , you will need to follow the instructions in the component/tech database , but do not use the scripts in the english version. USE the ones from the german version , they work , the english ones dont (allegidly the formating is off) , and follow the instruction in the english one. Just do a search on wvdial on the support databse , there were only three dos , one of them on dod / dial on demand with wvdial. You can get the german one at http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/hoe_wv_perm_tty.html save it to disk and copy the scripts , or delete all the html and rename the file.
