Hi I am using SuSE 10.0 x86. I am using Firefox as a web browser and I would like to keep the 1.0.6 version for two reasons : - When I did the update to 1.5.6, one extension (Biobar) does not work anymore (no fix for that yet) - The printing is broken (on 3 printers managed by CUPS, only 1 is working). I don't know how to fix that. Anyway, since the older version works well and Biobar is working, I would prefer stay with this one until the next update/patch will show up. SO... after the little introduction, here is the problem I reverted to Firefox 1.0.6 and now Susewatcher keep telling me that new update are available (Firefox 1.5.6 !). That is normal ! So I tried to protect the package using YaST by selecting the little yellow locker on the Firefox packages (both in the YaST>Software>Install Software and during the update process)... with no success What is odd is that Susewatcher did not take that into account. And if I go back to Install Software, the Firefox packages are not protected (no yellow lockers !). I would appreciate a little help. Thank You Regards Matthias -- ___________________________________________________ Matthias Titeux, PhD Departement de génétique des maladies epithéliums INSERM U563 - CPTP Pavillon Lefebvre, 5ème étage CHU Purpan 31059 Toulouse cedex 03 __________________________________________________
