ALEers,
Below is a post on the Suse Linux list wondering if ftp.ale.org would
be willing to host a SUSE apt repository.
Apparently there is not a US based mirror for the above.
I don't use apt, so it would not benefit me personally.

ftp.ale.org/pub/suse/i386
No actual apt repository in there. For 10 there isn't much of packages, but there are few for older versions.
Would anybody know if they would be willing to host an apt mirror. ? These basic folders have most of the programs a typical user will be using:
rpm ftp://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt SuSE/10.0-i386 rpmkeys base java update extra mozilla suser-jengelh suser-scrute funktronics packman suse-people openoffice security
After adding it to /etc/apt/source.list, then simple: apt-get update or apt-get install wpa-supplicant or which ever program This could not be any easier.:)

Hello,
Would anybody be able to tell me if there is an apt repository for SuSE in USA. I know SuSE provides repository in
ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/10.0-i386/
but is there a closer mirror?
Look at ftp.ale.org/pub/suse/i386
