startprint not working

I have been getting the following message when I try to print: KDEInit could not launch /opt/kde3/bin/startprint I have suse91pro and kde3.4 I took a startprint function from a working suse82 system. The startprint function seems pretty straightforward so the problem could possibly be in another place? Any & all ideas gratefully accepted. -- Cheers, Serge [Naggar Consulting]
