[opensuse] oS 13.1 and HAL

Hello: I'm curious if anyone has openSUSE 13.1 with working HAL installation. Does HAL work in openSUSE 13.1? Though there is HAL package for oS 12.2, I could not make it work correctly. Working HAL is required for KDE 3 media recognition and automounting.
