[opensuse] Yast2 DNS generate reverse and use /etc/hosts as source

The YAST2 DNS tool seems to require a lot of step-and-repeat. Is ther any way yo get it to simply read the hosts file and geenrate BOT the forward and reverse files? I don't seem to be able to get it to gnerate reverse files at all. What am I missing? Or is this simply a crippled tool? -- "Necessity is the mother of invention" is a silly proverb.
