If I click on any discussion thread within that forum (or on ANY discussion thread in ANY other forum on this website), the page opens to the thread but then Mozilla immediately closes.
I cannot reproduce this behavior. I did recently switch from the "stock" Mozilla 1.7.3 build for GTK1 to a GTK2-based build. So the problem could have been fixed subsequent to Mozilla 1.6 or it could be something more subtle that's related to the build configuration. I'll spare you a dump of my "about:plugins" page... I have the MPlayer, Java, RealPlayer G2 and Flash plug-ins installed.
This is the only website where I am having this problem. I don't have any idea where to begin looking for a fix. I have contacted the webmaster but he is a Windows person and can provide no assistance.
Any ideas, gurus?
Upgrade to a current build of Mozilla! 1.7.3 is better (faster, less buggy, more featureful and just as inexpensive).
Thanks! Gil
