I do have both of these. Is it possible to back install by running the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run shell script and then sax2?? I have only used this to upgrade to newer forms of the drivers .. will it work backwards? Yes, that should be no problem. The script first uninstalls the existing driver (whatever it is) and then install the one you are installing. BTW ; the only changes I made in /etc/X11/XF86Config section Device were : replace Driver “nv” by Driver “nvidia” add Option ”NvAGP” “0” Good luck, -- Jan Elders
