Now on a normal, copyrighted movie, I expect I would have some problems, but to say you can't copy videos is not correct.

Using 9.2. In k3b > tools > dvd > copy dvd worked fine on it.

Even if you receive a DVD of your cousin's wedding which, for some reason, he decided to protect, you might still be able to copy it if you have libdvdcss installed.
