I set up xchat to auto start from the Computer menu and then decided I didn't want it to autostart. I went back to the program on the computer menu and removed the autostart selection however xchat still autostarts. Anyone know which file/directory to modify to stop the autostart of a program.
shut it down. The log out (end current session). Then log back in and see if it restarts. Part of this is KDE restarting applications that were previously running.
Hi, I am using Gnome and I make sure that xchat is closed before logging out, but it still restarts upon login into Gnome.
Desktop -> GNOME Control Center, scroll down and open 'Sessions', select the 'Startup Programs' tab... if xchat remains listed there disable/remove as desired. hth & regards, Carl
