Hi all,
Thanks for the reply I have received for my problem.
Now I have start ypbind in debug mode, and get the following output:
/sbin/init.d/ypclient start Starting ypbindcleared entry for domain bagus.hawedo.com: server 0.0.0.0, port 0parsing config file Trying entry: ypserver 192.168.1.1
parsed ypserver 192.168.1.1 bindto_server: domain bagus.hawedo.com, host 192.168.1.1 clnt_create for server 192.168.1.1 failed
The client cannot connet to the server. Is ypserv really running on 192.168.1.1 ? (rpcinfo). Is the domainname correct on both sides ? Have you read the NIS-Howto ?
