I am trying to get my 4P scanner running. I have compiled the kernel with general scsi support and installed sane. I have also linked it to /dev/scanner. However, when I configure YaST, it does not hink the device I chose is a scanner. Now, because of my other SCSI devices the scanner is at /dev/sg9. Is this a problem or is there something else I need to do? I was able to pull up xscanimage once, it didn't work, and now it won't even open.
