upgrade suse 7.0 kde2

Hi, I yesterday downloaded the RPMs for KDE2(update for SUSE7.0) from the SUSE ftp site. I installed the RPM and rebooted my SUSE system. When the x-login appeared I logged-in. The KDE2 started.....(I saw a blue background screen), than my x-server restarted and there was my login prompt again. What am I doing wrong. Does anyone had this problem??? Greetings...
