Hello list readers:
According to man zypper:
-p, --priority <positive-integer> Set priority of the repository. Priority of 1 is the highest, the higher the number the lower the priority. Default prior- ity is 99. Packages from repositories with higher priority will be preferred even in case there is a higher installable version available in the repository with a lower priority.
But in yast software manager when I click update for a package the selected repo has the highest number (ie the lowest priority according to the above.)
Is this a bug or is it on purpose (that the gui interprets priority in the opposite manner)?
Thanks,
Istvan
I have found, that if a New repositories that held packages which also appeared in opensuse repository, neither the priority of the repository nor the version numbers of the package made any difference UNTIL I clicked that link at the top of yast to switch system packages to the new repository. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
