I may just be having a brain fart, but I can't seem to get Ldap working on my system and for some even stranger problem it will not let me print any of the config files out (help), as my normal user, file manager superuser mode, and as root.
OpenSuse 10.2-x86-64 with the openldap 2.3.27-25 x86-64.
Thanks for any help. My first instinct is to remove and reload the packages ( openldap server and client utilites ).
Do you get error messages when you try to start LDAP, or does it just fail to do anything? Does anything appear in /var/log/messages? I'm not sure what you mean when you say that you're trying to print the config files out...do you mean that `cat /etc/openldap/slapd.conf` (for example) fails? Or something else? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
