How are you creating the .mpx files? TTBOMK, the Lyra doesn't know what to do with a plain MP3.
What's the model number of your Lyra? Ours are the 1021 (64mb) and the 1071 (128mb) The only operational difference between those two are that the 1021 isn't as smart about the information it shows on the screen so you have to place the 'title, artist, album' info right into the mp3 file.
But I'm using only mp3's. Maybe you have a model that won't play mp3s.... 'Sorry about thet' if so....
Jumping Jeepers! My wife has the 1071, which will indeed play MP3s with no need for Musicmatch. My old RD2211 won't (which is why I can claim ignorance with a straight face), but that's as good a reason as I need to upgrade. One less windows app - thank you for the info!!
