I have a Billion BiPAC 7000 ADSL USB Modem. When I plugin my ADSL modem into my USB port, SuSE detects it. Here's the copy/paste from the YaST hardware detection: 83: USB 00.0: 0000 Unclassified device [Created at manual.278] Unique ID: UfPf.jTCezyrNOA5 Parent ID: 2XnU.qv6OTak9psD SysFS ID: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.3/usb5/5-1/5-1:1.0 SysFS BusID: 5-1:1.0 Hardware Class: unknown Model: "Conexant Systems (Rockwell) ADSL USB MODEM" Hotplug: USB Vendor: usb 0x0572 "Conexant Systems (Rockwell), Inc." Device: usb 0xcb06 "ADSL USB MODEM" Revision: "0.01" Serial ID: "17684544" Speed: 0 bps Config Status: cfg=new, avail=no, need=no, active=unknown Attached to: #77 (Hub) Looks like it uses the Conexant chipset. So now what do I do to get this ADSL modem working on SuSE? Thanks. -- Shriramana Sharma http://samvit.org
