To folks who put files on the non-US ftp sites:
could you put openssh and the like on the non-US sites when you release a new SuSE version? I understand you don't want to put the full distro up for a bit so people buy the retail version, but it really hurts the US folks who either have to do without ssh, hope an old version works, or compile it locally.
That's a really good point, I would appreciate if SuSE would make available, for example, the ssh.rpm for 7.0, as soon as it starts shipping the "CD version" of 7.0
SuSE rpm on 7.0 is ssh1 (Version 1.x.xx) ftp://ftp.cis.fed.gov/pub/ssh is ssh2 (Version 2.3.0) both for non-commercial use. choose your poison :) S.T.Ryder mailto:stryder@facestech.com +-------------------------------+-------------------------------------+ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
