You mention a lot of settings.....  but not what your OO settings are for
date formatting.
Would seem to be the first place to look.
Kindly inform me whereabout in Tools > Options this specific "settings for 
date formatting" are, and I shall certainly look there. As it is, I found no 
such setting.
