kde 3.1.2

Has the problem with the KDE 3.1.2 updates breaking yast2 been fixed without using the revert to former qt ben fixed ? If so where is the best place to get the updates ? I can use apt or download the rpms. More broadly do I really need KDE 3.1.2 at the moment ? thanks Mike
