I do not understand your question. I provided a direct quote from the sited web page. If you edit /usr/sbin/fou4s as indicated, you will no longer have the problem with 'ftp_proxy'.
Aha its the /usr/sbin/fou4s. I have done it now.
The author is very quick to respond to problems and provided this 'fix' after I queried him late last nite. I am sure that if you are unable to attain satisfactory results with the edit, questioning him will resolve your problem.
After this I'll give it a try.
PLEASE, do not cc or reply other than to the list unless requested to do otherwise. I now have 3 copies (why??) of your post including this one to the list for no good reason. This is very poor etiquette and reflects lack of knowledge in participation in mailing lists. If I were paying for connect time, I would consider billing you for service.
I'm deeply sorry for this. But if I do just send mails to suse-linux-e, I sometimes is loosing answers because somebody doesn't read just the suse-linux-e. Was easier if people would tell what they want. Again I'm VERY sorry for the inconvenience and for the loose of your money and time. Will stop now. -- Med venlig hilsen - Best regards - Vy 73 de oz4kk Erik Jakobsen - erik@urbakken.dk SuSE Linux 8.0 Professional.
