Hi Darryl, Just to send you the missing screen and to tell that I really find 9.2 one of the best distro from SuSE. Unfortunaly I had to change cause I bought an Lenovo Z60m and I didn't want to "playing" around with the drivers. I guess that the most efficient way to get the sources is to download them. Hi Darryl,
Here is what have done:
1. I set the DVD source inactive, both FTP sources active, first inst-source, then non-oss-inst-source (InstallSource-1.png), last the DVD source and I click Finish. It took a bit to close the window. I assume the catalogues were being updated;
2. I reopen the Installation Sources window and the order of the sources was not maintained (InstallSource-2.png);
3. I open the Software Managemente module and there were no boxes in the Source column (SwManagement-1.png).
Of course, your images were stripped by the list server, so no one else has seen them. In the copies you sent privately, the last one is actually a duplicate of the second install source image.
Any hint?
I am relying on what others have said and done to resolve 10.1 issues (9.3 still runs quite well on my system, and will continue to do so until 10.2 reaches at least rc2 or final release). Now I am on new ground -- no one else has reported (that I can find) that the sources boxes don't appear after the repositories are added in Yast -- and am just guessing. You might try to refresh each of the remote repositories in the "install sources" module. You might also want to try to remove the DVD installation source. Which one to try first is up to you, but if it were my system, I would do both -- remove the DVD source, exit, restart the module and then refresh. If you still cannot see the source boxes, then if you absolutely must have some source packages, you will probably have to download them directly from the repositories -- or retrograde your system back to 9.2, and wait for 10.2.
