I done with this card in 6.2 when I got my 6.2, it's so easily.
1. Start your KDE 2. Look for the emk10~ folder(something, can't remember clearly the full name in /etc/~something), make sure you have select this in YaST. 3. Go into the folder and run the installation file. 4. Just wait for the 'tic' sound from your speaker. 5. That's all, done.
I were just like most of the people here, looking high and low to setup this baby, without knowning that it's so simple to make it work.
I think the module is still in 'beta' but so far it work fine for me, but only for the front two speakers.
In YaST, this module is in German, guess this is why many has missed it. BTW, I am a Chinese from Singapore.
Have a try.
Good Luck.

Now i'm really need your help. I'm first time going to setup soundcard under linux( i usually work with servers) Sound card is Creative Labs Sounblaster Live! Value.. As i understand ALSA make alfa driver for it couple of weeks ago. My question here: 1) Is it will be fine to setup driver directly form ALSA web site or i should wait for SuSE update.
I wouldn't recommend using ALSA on your SBLive! just yet. The ALSA Project is a fantastic organization, but they are still not fully ready for production in a lot of ways. I'd personally rather use the driver straight from Creative (I think it's http://linux.creativlabs.com, but don't quote me). Compile it yourself and follow the instructions. Works great on our Athlon/G400/SBLive! Platinum box here :). Isn't it nice to see someone running the same hardware you are :].
3) Will it available in SuSE 6.3?
This is a problem that SuSE needs to get their hands slapped for :). They went to all of the trouble to hire Jaraslov Kyslea, but they're notoriously *bad* about keeping the ALSA RPMs on the CD's up to date. For instance, when SuSE 6.2 was released, it shipped with ALSA 0.3.0pre5 (ALSA 0.4.1 was already on the alsa-project.org ftp site by that time).
