The issue is that the payload in RPM is no longer bzip2 compressed. So the rpm executable you have on your workstation is not able to deal with the new .rpm files.
Updating rpm package should help you get over it.

I had version 4.4.2-144 installed prior to updating to 4.4.2-182 thats not a serious volume change. They should ensure a dependency change in the affected rpms anyway.
either that or people should try to understand what Factory is for...
