Problem: intermittent failure if boot process. The last line on the screen is: ACPI processor limited to max C-state 1
I've seen this several times lately, and I'm wondering what is causing the the boot to stop at this point and what can be done to remedy the situation.
Hi Mike, ACPI is a power management specification, and has been known to cause problems with Linux in the past. You may want to try disabling it. A quick search on google should point the way. Hope this helps. Jesse
