Howdy, When I boot up my desktop (box #1 below), right before it goes into kdm, as I am watching all the services startup, one of the last ones that comes up is this: Failed to start Network Manager ...................[[1;31mFAILED[0m] See 'systemctl status NetworkManager.service' for details. Dependency failed. Aborted start of Network Manager Wait Online .....[[1;31m ABORT[0m] That is copied from the boot log (I added in the dots for clarity). I am not using network manger on this pc, as I just use ifup and configure it in yast. What sort of thing should I do in order to not have one of the startup scripts fail? -- G.O.
