I am running opensuse 11.1 from a clean install and whenever I do a 'zypper -n dup' it always lists the same packages although when I use rpm -q to check the version of the package, it seems that the package has already been updated.
Is this a problem with a corrupted zypper db or is this a known bug?
If you are running "zypper dup" on 11.1, with the repos pointed to 11.1 repos, then you already have 11.1 and can not do a "distribution update" to 11.1. You see the expected behaviour.
Please explain what you really want to do.

If you do a zypper dup or distribution upgrade on an up to date 11.1 with only 11.1 repos it shouldn't install anything. Maybe op wants a zypper up or update. Regards Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
