All in all. Not bad. It crashed only once, while I was in the Preferences trying to find out why Intellicast doesn't like M14's version of Java. I vistied the sites that made Netscape 4.7.2 lock up and I can report that M14 did NOT lockup when I attempted to display the radar loop on Intellicast.com. BUT, even though Java has been 'enabled' I couldn't display the radar java loop. Intellicast told me it had trouble with Mozilla's Java engine and wouldn't display the loop. The look and feel is spiffy and nice, but my box is a P166 with 64M of RAM and MileStone14 wasn't too swift. Just about as fast as Netscape 4.7.2. Browser only....Email and composer were not installed. It's different. I still haven't figured out where/how to install applications like RealPlayer, if that is possible with M14. I was thinking about switching to Mozilla when it comes out of beta. I am not so sure now. All I want in a browser is basically what Netscape 4.x supplied, but without the instability and as much speed as possible: A browser with bookmarks easy to use and modify, email with the ability to have more than one email profile and each addressing more than one ISP, and a newreader. Import and export of the addressbook and the bookmarks. Nothing much that isn't already out there. JUST DON'T CRASH. I'll wait to see what Konquor looks like.
