ok, I admit, the mainboard (Asus P5LD2 Deluxe) I have already gave me some surprises when installing Linux (I wanted to activate RAID0 over two discs, as the board should support RAID, but the installer detected a software raid).
As far as I can see from the specs of this board, it has an Intel ICH7R controller, which should be hardware RAID. This means the RAID is set up in the BIOS, not in the system. So configure your RAID0 in the BIOS, then the OS will see a single drive --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
