Hi: To get coredumps in SuSE 8.2 I only need to edit /etc/profile and do a ulimit -c 50000 There is a comment in /etc/profile that says: # # Adjust some size limits (see bash(1) -> ulimit) # Note: You may use /etc/initscript instead to set up ulimits and your PATH. I tried creating an /etc/initscript and it ended up causing init to respond to rapidly. Is there a better place to do this? How do you enable coredumps of a max size under 9.0? TIA.
