Netscape is running because I am writing my email with it. It' s not doing anything silly. :-) Top only tells me the processor usage. Not which causes the high load factor.
Memory and disk usage will cause high load.. If your disk is not thrashing and there is not much processor usage going on then it is memory causing your prob..
