Listmates,
Yast/Zypper software management and online update modules have become slower and slower over the past few weeks. I have read in the past on the list that I may need to wipe out the cache? and let it rebuild. I think that's worth at try. What exactly do I need to delete? Which files?
Hi David,
rm /var/cache/zypp/zypp.db than run zypper refresh to recreate database.
More is on openSUSE wiki: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Speed_up_Package_Manager_Stack
Wow, rebuilt and still 75M. Is that about right? Much Faster Now!
What repo's do you have? To me that sounds like it may be about right if you have a ton of repo's.
