I just downloaded a rather nice minimal boot rescue system that fits on a floppy diskette called ramfloppy. This includes utilities, will mount ide disks interactively with mount commands, and the process creates a bootable floppy diskette for those times you need it. It took me about 10 minutes to build the rescue diskette but you will need the RAR archiver/unarchiver to decompress it. Pretty cool stuff. It launches with mc running and an editor in place. Its at sunsite incoming now. -- Michael E.
