Try replacing the CMOS/Clock battery (usually CR2032 butten cell). It is a Lithium cell and doesn't recharge (it is supposed to last ~5 yrs.). The 486-80 should be due a new battery by now. "James (Jim) Hatridge" wrote:
Hi all,,
On one of my computers, when I boot it I get an error:
Setting up the CMOS Clock FAILED
What does this mean? Is it important? If so, how do I fix it?
The system is a 486/80MHz running 6.3.
TIA!
