In the good old days, it was sufficient to make a link to the program in /etc/init.d/rc3.d and /etc/init.d/rc5.d for starting it at boot time: /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S50My_program -> /home/wolfgang/bin/My_program /etc/init.d/rc5.d/S50My_program -> /home/wolfgang/bin/My_program But now under Leap 15.1, that does not work any more. Is there any other way to start a program a boot time?
