I bought a dual layer DVD writer that is a USB 2.0 device. I used it to burn some data DVDs using k3b on my Dell Inspiron 5100 (SuSe 9.3 Pro with "latest" updates via YOU). The last time I tried to burn some DVDs - I re-attached the burner but could not get the system to recognize it.
