I'm using KDE on 9.0. The screensaver starts while I'm typing.
Something must be wrong with it, then. Though I have not used 9.0 yet, I have used a variety of SuSE and other distros with KDE and never had the screensaver start while typing.
I move the mouse to get out. Keystrokes don't get me out.
I have SuSE 8.2pro and SuSE 9.0pro and do not have a problem with screen savers. I did have a problem with APM Power Control on my laptop (9.0) where when it went into standby, I could not get it back without a reboot. I set it to suspend and it works fine. The screen saver detects both the mouse and the keyboard for both systems. Note that my SuSE 8.2 system is running KDE 3.1.4. - -- Jerry Feldman <gaf@blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/91Th+wA+1cUGHqkRAmA4AJ4vBBv+VYaaUVlS6IZYIhi48q1W9wCfbyCz cQseyfd4/s2K4eUAUvQxDWI= =fbxQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
