When ->I tried to use ./spadmin in Open Office to set up my printer I got this error ->message: -> ->Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server ->Xlib: No protocol specified It appears that you are logged into your machine using your user account and trying to excute X programs as root from an xterm. If you use sux instead of just su in order to become root then you will be able to execute X programs while logged in as a normal user.
