Is it apparent that you get a GUI dialer? I see absolutly no reason to have one...partly because its unneccisary, and because i've never gotten one to work. However, my perl dial script works like a charm.

I have tried Kppp and ezppp with my modem (externel USR x2), but whenever I try to get a connection, both of these programs return the message "the ppp daemon died unexpectedly!". I can get a command line ppp up easy enough, but I am going to be setting up a linux box for someone who probably doesn't have the ability to learn linux quick enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
