I used to have one of these on Windows 3.11 way back when. IIRC, I used TimeKeeper.
GnoTime - catchy name - seems to have a stopwatch feature. Is that what you want?

It was already suggested, but looks more than I need, i'll probably test it after all..
You can add actuals to time spent. I do more overvew stuff here, but used to use MS Project and MicroMan from POC IT.
