I see the same thing. I blame Netscape, not Linux (since I never had this problem using Navigator 3, but just version 4). Does anyone have any ideas??? - mikeh
Has anybody else had this problem? When I try to download large files using Netscape, the download processes seems to go to sleep. The progress bar stops after a few minutes, so do the meteors and the time remaining indicator. All it takes to get it stated back up is a brush of the cursor. Sometimes I need to touch the actual download window, and sometimes I just move the mouse. It starts back up and goes for a few minutes, then it stops again. I am not sure if it is Linux setting the download to a very low priority, or something like that, or if Communicator for Linux has a problem, or some combination of the two. Any ideas?
