I dreamt about my Zaurus. I was impressed when I got it. I was disappointed when trying to operate it under Windows or Linux. I am feeling stupid with it. I must confess that I still use my M500, reading news with Avant-Go is great ... This being said, maybe one day the Zaurus will be fully operational. I have gathered loads of technical stuff about how to make it work ... including recompiling Suse 8.0 kernel to amend USB driver ... :-( Good luck for Fathers' Day !!

Anyone have any experience with this Palm Pilot and Suse 8 / JPilot? Is it worth trying, or should I look for a Linux-based PDA like the much more expensive Zaurus?
I'm using the M505 (soon to be reborn as a Sony CLIE NR70V I hope - Fathers' Day this Sunday !!!) and it appears to work OK. I'm looking at getting it to sync with Evolution tonight....
The Zauras is crap - plastic, cheaply made and a pain to operate
